HLC MFG: The Woodshop Behind Plan B, Flip and Sk8Mafia

HLC is a skateboard company out of the Basque Country in Spain. It started with three brothers, the Iraolas, building decks in a small garage for their own brand, JART Skateboards. Today HLC runs its own woodshops and makes and distributes decks for some of the biggest names in skateboarding.

Who HLC makes decks for

Unlike most woodshops, HLC is open about it. Brands HLC produces and distributes include:

  • Plan B Skateboards
  • Flip Skateboards
  • Sk8Mafia
  • SOVRN
  • JART Skateboards (HLC's own brand)

HLC distributes its brands in more than 60 countries. Its US factory is AEND Industries in Hutto, Texas – and that's where the HLC blanks we carry are made.

How HLC builds a deck

  • Maple sourced from forest conservation areas in Canada
  • Cold pressed, one board at a time, so every deck comes out consistent
  • CNC robots for shaping, varnishing and finishing
  • Quality inspections at every stage of production

HLC MFG blanks we carry

HLC's blanks are the reason to look at them over the other woodshops: they offer shapes the others don't. Ours come out of AEND in Texas.

Every listing has the full length, wheelbase and nose/tail dimensions for each width.
